Do you think there will ever be people cool enough to overcome the stigma surrounding certain names?
Probably not. Someone recently was asking about the name Jezebel for a baby and apparently that name comes with a stigma too. I don't really get it, though, because I think the person makes the name, not the other way around. Besides, people still name their children Jeffrey, Charles, Ted, John, etc., despite the serial killers who bore those names. It's okay to share a name with Charles Manson, but not with Adolf Hitler, so that doesn't really make much sense to me. But that's just the way it is, though, I guess, like Fido being a popular dog's name and the phobia that could plague a man named Gaylord (especially if, ironically, he really is gay). Rudolph, on the other hand, I think could still be socially acceptable. Sure, he may get some reindeer jokes growing up, but it's still a nice name that could be shortened into Rudy or Dolph, so I think that name could still work fine in today's society. I don't think that the others will ever be socially acceptable again, though, but you really never know.
