Could I ever be a Crime Scene Investigator?

I have a burning desire in my soul to become a CSI. However, in the past I have broken just about every rule there is. 9 or so years of pretty regular marijuana use, experiences with methamphetamine, mushrooms, ecstasy, cocaine, purchase and distribution of marijuana, some minor internal theft from a company, and even a small experience with production of marijuana. However, I have never been charged with, convicted, or even accused of any crime. Is there any way (with all this history behind me forever) that I could ever fulfill my dream of being a CSI for anyone, anywhere? Or has my history pretty much tainted me beyond all repair for any type of work within the justice system?
