1972 Plymouth Fury Restoration?

My dad has a 72 Fury lll 2 door Vinyl top with a 383 4 barrel. It has been sitting for about 26 years in the cold Iowa winters. The body is decent shape for sitting out for so long. However, there is seperation of the body panels from the back seats to the trunk. Also, the motor is probably locked. Is the seperation fixable or is the car too far gone to completely restore?
