Why do some middle eastern people smell terrible?

i live in an area with alot of Indian people and have come to accept that they smell like a mix of armpit sweat and rotting food. Well today an Indian kid joined my kickboxing cl and once this kid started sweating the whole gym smelled bad, and being near the kid would cause gag reflex for me. I ended up going home midway through the cl and complained to the instructor about the smell, and have been wondering what on earth this Indian kid did to smell so bad.
